REDI.E’s Market Day

Date: Saturday 26th October

Come down to REDI.E for a vibrant Indigenous Market Day, celebrating Indigenous entrepreneurs showcasing Language Centres, courses, teachers and speakers, unique artefacts, paintings, emu egg carvings, and cultural performances. Experience the rich heritage and talents of our Community in a day filled with creativity, culture, and connection.

Dubbo Multicultural Sharing Session

Date: Saturday 26th October 14, 2024
Time: 10:30am – 12:30pm
Location: Western Plains Cultural Centre, Meeting Room 1 (next to centre)

Ginhar invites Dubbo’s multicultural community, and all community members, to their fun and engaging free event to learn about Aboriginal Languages in NSW, particularly Wiradjuri.

Community BBQ

Date: Sunday 20th October
Time: Sunday 12pm – 2pm
Location: Elston Park

Marradhali will host a free Community BBQ on Sunday 20th October to begin celebrating Aboriginal Languages Week. Come along for a feed, a few traditional games, some craft and, a yarn. Let's have some fun playing with Language together. Everyone welcome!

Afternoon school/OOSH visits

Dates: Monday 21st – Friday 25th October

Each afternoon Marradhali will visit a local school/OOSH for an hour of traditional games, craft and, stories using language. Afternoon tea (fruit and a drink) will be included. Check the Facebook page for the roster of locations.

Community BBQ

Date: Sunday 27th October
Time: 12pm – 2pm
Location: Lunar Park, Armstrong Cres, Dubbo NSW 2830

Come along for a feed and practice the Language you have learned, make some new friends and find out how you can continue your Language learning journey!

Wiradyuri Ngiyang Murrungarra

Come and celebrate Wiradyuri Language at Gossamer Park with a free picnic dinner, outdoor screening of our Language films, Q and A with filmmakers, presentations, music entertainment and more! BYO chairs and picnic rugs.
